I know it has been a while, but this is the first time I have read the Pharmacy reviews. In January I was very sick and I had to wait a few minutes for my prescription. The Pharmacist spoke directly to me, letting me know my prescription was ready and set it on the counter for the cashier to check me out. He heard our conversation and knew it was ready. Instead of checking me out, he spent some time "straightening things up" behind the counter. I am not going to mention his name, you know who you are. All I wanted was to get my meds and go home, since I could barely stand and wait. Finally he helped me. Why would a person do that, seeing that a customer was in physical pain? That was not my only poor customer service experience there, but by far, the worst. In every other HEB department, customer service is excellent, but the Pharmacy needs some refresher training.
Extremely slow & disorganized. Some techs are nice, but that should be expected. I receive a notification that the prescription is ready yet I still have to wait 15 minutes after I arrive because they can't find it. This is unacceptable & very frustrating - especially when your baby, who's with you, is sick.
Im not sure why people are complaining about the wait. Most of you are on your cell phones not paying attention. You don't care at a red light when you are holding up people while you check Facebook so why are you complaining about the wait? The wait at the drive through is long. But THEY ARE DISPENSING DRUGS!! this is not a mcdonalds drive through. I love the place. Rock on.
I am going to work tomorrow without my meds because of a screw up they made and refuse to understand. I had another Heb look into to make sure I wasn't dropping the ball. They made me feel like I was bothering them because they had other customers but this isn't because I didn't get a drink order or something normal. I take meds because I have to. To brush me off and not call me back by the end of today is just awful especially when I didnt do anything wrong. The pharmacy made the mistake and I had prove it for them after solving why I am short 7 days worth of meds. I dont even know if I'll get them tomorrow. I am beyond upset with how this is handled and the sad part is I have to suffer because of it.
The workers are always very nice, but 3 times Ive come here and 3 times Ive stood in line for quite a while only to find out my prescription wasnt ready yet. Two of those times, they had actually called me to tell me it WAS ready. This time (today) I waited about 2 hours after the doc sent the prescription to them. It was a medicine that needed to be started ASAP and any pharmacist would recognize it as such. It still wasnt ready when I got here (and stood in line for quite a while). Like I said, really nice people, which I appreciate. But dont expect a quick and easy stop here to grab your medicine, even if theyve told you its ready.
